I
received my Master of Arts degree for Animation from the
Savannah College of Art and Design, as well
as my Bachelor of
Fine Arts degree in Illustration from the same school.
I have had the
pleasure of being a Creative Assistant at Disney Design Group
in Orlando, Florida, where I created
merchandise for the Walt Disney World/Disneyland resorts.
I enjoyed the responsibility
of conceptualizing, creating character art and graphic design.
I also had the honor of creating the artwork and entire style
guide for the
2007 merchandise program for the Disney parks.
I
am also currently freelancing for Walt Disney Entertainment
in which I have been
pursuing my dream of creating
art, concept
and design for theme parks. One major project I was fortunate enough
to work on was Everest in the City, a two day promotional event
at Times Square in New York City. I produced the final artwork
(two billboards that hang on the W Hotel and the adjacent Argent
building) which forms the stage for acrobats as they dance
30+ stories in the air.
I am currently
searching for full-time work as an illustrator/designer in
the entertainment or animation industry.
